Margaret Mead once stated, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” We are that small group of thoughtful, committed people and we are changing our corner of the world for a better tomorrow. |

River Country’s purpose is to:
We build connections. We utilize resources that individuals are aware of, but also reveal those resources that they don’t know are even available to them. We strive to give each and every person the opportunity to be sustainable, while creating a positive bottom line in their environment, their finances and their relationships. Mission: River Country Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Council, Inc. was established in 1987. Our primary concern is to promote, facilitate and build connections for the wise use of natural, human and economic resources. We network within the Wisconsin Counties of Barron, Buffalo, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, St. Croix and Trempealeau. We are an independent, not for profit 501(c) 3 organization. |
